Pinterest connection
Understand how Vealous connects to Pinterest, retrieves your profile, and protects one Pinterest profile from being controlled by multiple Vealous accounts.
Connect through Pinterest
Vealous uses Pinterest OAuth. Pinterest asks you to approve the connection and then sends Vealous the verified profile information and permissions needed for Boards and Pins. Vealous never asks for your Pinterest password.
One connected profile per workspace
A Vealous workspace uses one Pinterest profile. This is a workspace rule, not a paid-plan feature or plan differentiator.
Duplicate-profile protection
The same active Pinterest profile cannot be connected to two different Vealous customer workspaces at the same time. This protects you from two Vealous schedules competing to publish to the same Pinterest profile. Disconnect the profile from the old Vealous workspace before connecting it to another one.
Reconnect
If Pinterest access expires or Pinterest asks for approval again, open Connections and reconnect the existing profile. Reconnecting updates the same Vealous profile record instead of creating a second profile.
Existing Boards
Vealous imports existing Pinterest Boards only when your Board Routing choice uses them. If you choose Create New Boards, your existing Pinterest Boards are not pulled into Vealous just for being connected.
